Aiba Koichirou “Koyo” - This beautiful blue and white mixed glaze is instantly recognizable as a Koyo pot. The intricacies of the color changes create wonderful detail. It would make a great collectible for display or be the first to add a tree.

Potter/Kiln Info: Koichirou Aiba, born in 1944, stands as one of Japan's esteemed potters, having garnered significant popularity. Although recently deceased, he shared familial ties as the husband of 'Kouso' and the father of 'Juko' (Kuniaki Aiba). The legacy extends further with Juko currently overseeing the Koyo kiln, established by Koichirou in 1970. Notably, Koichirou hails from a lineage of potters, although their expertise traditionally extends beyond the realm of bonsai containers.
