Fukuda Keiun - This pot features a multi color glaze that sets off the mokko shape and the swirls in the drips make it very appealing. This one would serve a shohin tree well.

Potter/Kiln Info: Keiun, whose given name is Yasuo Fukuda, secured a gold award at the 15th Annual Contemporary Kobachi Artist Exhibition for his exquisite glazed bonsai containers. In his studio, Fukushige (Bushuan), Keiun's nephew, dedicated himself to learning pottery. Keiun's artistic evolution is evident in his latest display, surpassing the 2019 exhibition, where he skillfully incorporates inherited glazes from the retired Fukushige. Beyond pottery, Keiun engages in calligraphy on containers, showcasing a rich variety of classical styles and glazes. Notably, his traditional style sets him apart from the distinctive artistic approach of his nephew.
