Zeko - Painted bonsai pots from Zeko Nakamura are always a treasure and this one is no exception. The bird and persimmon painting is one that pleasingly draws the eye to inspect its' abstract appearance. Zeko passed in 1989, so this being new old stock is quite rare.
This pot is new old stock and has the Zeko chop (stamp) and painted signature on the bottom. I have this pot below usual value, because of a small crack on the bottom. The crack was glazed over before original sale, so perhaps he originally sold it as an imperfection. I’m proud to offer you pots that I find fantastic. Thank you very much for your interest. Enjoy 😊
